In the colours of La Route Team , this Motobecane Equipe Pro was originally in Motobecane's colour scheme of the early 1980's and has been recreated in the colour s ridden by the Tour de France team of the era (Paul Sherwen).
It has been difficult to date this frame from materials available, it may have also been known by other names in different markets with different level versions being available-the 1982 Brochure shows only the Junior version of this frame. This one is Reynolds 531 and has been repainted . The fork is painted over unpolished chrome ( leads me to believe it is an early version for the consumer market) - the later fork is fully polished and somewhat different.
Will make a beautiful build using Campagnolo or French components.
The Bottom Bracket & Headset is included , though the headset is not original , the Campagnolo Bottom Bracket is. This has obviously been removed for painting, threads on the bottom bracket shell cleaned and retapped. Though you might find this a little tired and choose to replace in anyway to suit your chainset.
Obviously with some marks, imperfections as you'd expect of a frame of 40 years old or so.

A note about our used bicycles & Frames. All Items are genuine vintage and whilst in full working order, may also so show signs of age or own some distinguishing marks. As well as these signs of character there may also be some signs of rust (faint and few) and some signs of mottling on the chrome. Where possible we have tried to show these on photographs. These small imperfections are commensurate with what is expected of a bike of this age.The bikes are not new.
