About this Bike Frame:
Daniel Salmon handbuilt, late eighties. Ex team bike (with number hanger). Daniel Salmon was a French Racing Bike Ride, who featured in the Tour De France in the 1960s. Riding for 4 teams in his professional career. These included de-Gribaldy and Gitane. After racing , he had his own bike shop and made steel frames under his name. These frames are quite highly regarded by collectors and enthusiasts. These frame was no doubt one used by cyclist kin teh team of his name and was probably ridden at national or regional level. The frame came to me requiring paint and forks needed rechroming , which has been done. The frame did not have art work, so |I have created the style you see from the logo on his shop and a picture of his team van that I found. Please note the bike in the advert I show is not the one I have for sale. The frame bears the marks DS for Daniel Salmon on the headtube. |

A note about our used bicycles & Frames. All Items are genuine vintage and whilst in full working order, may also so show signs of age or own some distinguishing marks. As well as these signs of character there may also be some signs of rust (faint and few) and some signs of mottling on the chrome. Where possible we have tried to show these on photographs. These small imperfections are commensurate with what is expected of a bike of this age.The bikes are not new.
